Heimtextil through our eyes

Naturally Uneven

Characteristics: Use of raw, natural materials such as linen, hemp, and jute. The focus lies on textures with organic and irregular structures.

Colors: Earth tones, such as beige, unbleached fibers, and soft grays.

ESG: ESG has its roots in the flax industry. One of our R&D pillars is exploring the spinning limits of flax and hemp on our machinery. We focus on blends with cellulose-based fibers to enhance the recyclability of the product. By blending flax or hemp with mass-dyed viscose, we create unique mélange color collections for interior design and fashion.

Radically Restructured

Characteristics: This trend questions current production methods. It emphasizes using technology, such as AI, to minimize waste during production and promote the reuse of discarded materials.

Colors: Bright, futuristic hues combined with metallic accents.

ESG: Thanks to its modern spinning machines, ESG can monitor power consumption and continues to invest in the spinning mill of the future. Did you know that ESG reuses its own spinning mill "waste" in a Millefiore collection and generates almost no waste itself?

Regenerative Practices

Characteristics: Three key words stand out: circular, local, and bio-based materials. More than ever, there is a focus on the recyclability of end-of-life products.

Colors: Shades of green and blue.

ESG: For seven years, we have been expanding our use of recycled raw materials. Our journey began with the #hackyourjeans collection, and we continue to grow further, partly thanks to our close collaboration with Purfi (Waregem, BE). With Purfi fibers, we can spin yarns with high recycled content while maintaining the lowest possible environmental impact.

The color palette of Alcova Milano unites these three trends. It features tones enabled by technology as well as natural hues derived from raw materials or alternative natural dyeing methods.
Wondering how we match this palette with our color library? This update is coming soon.
